For offshore workers meeting standard health conditions, the OEUK certificate is valid for a maximum of 2 years (24 months). However, the physician may reduce this period to 1 year or less depending on the candidate's existing chronic conditions or risk factors.

For a flawless and fast process, you should bring the following to your appointment:

Valid photo ID or passport (required for Vantage registration)
Your previous OEUK or OGUK medical report, if any
Your prescription glasses if you wear them (with their cases if you use contact lenses)
Medical reports if you are undergoing dental treatment or take regular medication

The standard OEUK certificate is for general personnel serving on the platform. However, if you will serve on the platform's ERT (Emergency Response Team) (e.g. firefighting or search and rescue), you must additionally undergo high cardiovascular capacity measurements (e.g. Chester Step Test) beyond the standard examination.
